A Spring Wedding | Wedding Photographer of The Woodlands

Wedding Portrait at the Inn at Quarry Ridge

K + J

Sweet, authentic moments are my favorite thing to photograph at your wedding, and I’ve pulled together a great selection of them from this wedding day.

There are so many wedding venues within an hours drive of The Woodlands, that this photographer over here is giddy with excitement. It seems like a new one pops up every month or so.
The Farmhouse, Jennings Trace, Olde Dobbin Station, The Springs, The Carriage House, and the list goes on and on and on. Some venues are a little further away, but luckily I love a good drive.

The Inn at Quarry Ridge reminds me of where I got married. I love that you can stay on the property and makes the whole wedding party feel at ease! This venue has a good amount of outdoor greenery for portraits, a gazebo ceremony site, and a beautiful indoor reception space with plenty of light.

Gosh I love a good “rings in the rose” shot. Garden roses work the best for this – so plan ahead!

Something Blue

Blue tones have been on my mind lately, and I love them in this wedding styling, so classic! Also, Pantone color of the year was also literally “classic blue” so this is rather fitting. Btw….how gorgeous is this hand painted, watercolor invitation?!

Getting ready with your bridesmaid is the perfect chance to let your personality shine. goofy slipers, gorgeous matching robes, or outfits is always a good idea.

Blue suede wedding shoes, yes please!

Can I tell you a secret? getting ready photos are best taken outside where there is great light, and more space. Unless your venue has an incredible bridal suite, plan on having your mother or maid of honor take these shots with you outside! Luckily, most venues being built have taken bridal suites seriously, and you may have an indoor option.
