Morgan and Tim’s Bentwater Yacht Club Wedding in Montgomery, Texas was full of warm, tropical vibes on the water at Lake Conroe. Bentwater Yacht club is the perfect location for traditional brides, looking for a scenic venue with views of the lake. Sunset portraits on the water are a must here! And if you’re lucky enough to know someone who lives on the lake, your groom can even arrive by boat. How fun is that? You’ll have to scroll down! Morgan was for lack of a better word, giddy all day long. You can tell by these photos just how excited she was to experience all things bridal.
Venue & Catering: Bentwater

Morgan chose Green Monstera leaf, and lilies for her florals, and kept it classic & simple.
I love these huge arched windows, and how they frame Morgan. It’s amazing how well bridal session photos integrate into your wedding gallery. Even on different days, with different light! Morgan’s bridal photos from a couple of months before her wedding were on a cool, overcast day (Photo below on the right). Wedding day was full of sun and heat (photo on the left).
Arriving in style to this Bentwater yacht club wedding, right into groomsmen photos on the dock!
Isn’t this scene from Morgan and Tim’s Bentwater Yacht Club wedding ceremony just perfect? Blue Skies on a blue lake!
Let’s talk about guests dancing at your wedding. The DJ at this wedding came to me and told me to get ready for the “soul train” that he was going to surprise the bride and groom with. Naturally, I was terrified. This did not sound like something I would want to be surprised with at my wedding. But guess what?! The guests were into it, and it provided a single direction for them to travel while dancing, which equals an awesome opportunity to capture them doing their thing! I’m sold. Tell your DJ to get your guests on the dance floor with a Soul Train. You probably won’t regret it!
Morgan + Tim your Bentwater wedding was so much fun! I hope you enjoyed every second of your day.
