About these “mossy Oak tree photo sessions in The Woodlands Texas,” There’s nothing more Southern, in my opinion, than an oak tree drenched in Spanish moss. From Brazos Bend to Savannah, Georgia I’ve seen some gorgeous oaks like this. While we could drive down to Brazos Bend State Park for the best trees in Houston, and wrangle some alligators while we’re at it, I’d much prefer to stay close to home! Found this private little spot 5 minutes down the road, and it’s just the perfect backdrop for family photos, baby and child photos, or for engagements/couples. I’m sure you’ll love it just as much as I do!

I totally plan to take a few shots of my kids here this summer. Doing what, I’m not sure yet!?

• 1 long road trip in the airstream (Colorado here we come!)
• Day trip to Galveston and a visit to LaKing’s for Salt water taffy
• Blueberry picking at The Sanctuary Blueberry Farm.
• Bingo nights at BE Winery – the perfect GNO!
• Camping trip to The Range Vintage Trailer Resort (this place has the cutest glamping setup and I LOVE it there.)
• track down Unicorn Snowcones
• Flower picking at Basecamp farms
• It has been a couple years since we’ve been to the Franklin Animal Safari, but that was a hit in our house!
• A night at Margaritaville, Lake Conroe for the waterslides (and Margs).
• visit at least one awesome independent bookstore (if you have a good one please let me know!)
• Visit the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston for Monet to Matisse
• night at the Showboat drive in Theatre
